About Howard Aaron
An Easton resident, Aaron discovered the joy of painting in watercolors at the age of 50. Although primarily Mr. Aaron is self-taught, he has taken watercolor, landscape, and advanced painting courses at the The Silvermine Guild School of Art. His commissioned portraits and landscapes are represented in private collections locally as well as New York, Pennsylvania, Florida, Arizona, Montana, and the state of Washington.
 He is a member of the Connecticut Society of Portrait Artists, the Westport Arts Center, the Fairfield County Arts Association, the Art Society of Old Greenwich, and is a founding member of the Easton Arts Council. At the 2004 CSOPA Faces of Summer, gallery visitors voted his work their most favorite. In September 2005 he was the recipient of the blue ribbon Dowling Group Ltd. Purchase Award from the Old Greenwich Art Society, a choice from over 570 entries.
